Whitney Wisdom Beading opened its e-commerce doors this May, as something to fill my furlough. I was so eager to get the shop started. I stocked only 4 styles of beaded bracelets on Grand Opening. 7 months later and I’ve expanded the shop to include beaded rings, anklets, and necklaces! Whitney Wonderland: Our Whitney Wonderland bracelet collection makes me feel like I’m in an actual snow globe! Instead of a bunch of red and green Santa’s I’ve always liked decorating with snowmen, penguins, and snowflakes the best because you can leave them up all winter long. I applied this same concept to a more all-inclusive bracelet launch! The snowflake beads are a high-quality shiny silver with a distinctive cut. Kick up the glam factor and wear for New Year’s as well! We have two styles of snowflake bracelets: 1. Fully beaded in either Blue Christmas (light periwinkle blue) or Clara (pale pink) 2. Queen of the Tassel: This one is for all the daydreamers out there. People who want to push their humdrum routines to a creative limit often gravitate towards tassel bracelets. Initials & Birth Stones/Everyone Has an Initial/ Initial Rings & Bracelets: With my first initial collection, I challenged the design notion that all initial and monogrammed jewelry has to be preppy. Mine is not created to fit this norm and instead, I combine a variety of patterns in one bracelet! (More along the styling of a print mixed Free People top.) The initial rings are simple on a beaded silver Tiffany’s inspired band. However, there is something special about holding a special letter right there on your finger or wrist for all to see.
We also have birthstone rings that can be customized for mom, grandmom, aunts, friends, cousins, etc. to include as many of the family’s birthstones as desired. No additional charge, just leave a note with the months or stone colors at check out. Birthstone crystal rings were the #1 best seller at our first in-person shopping event at Nottingham Swim Club in Delaware.
Marbled Necklaces: One of my favorite accessories to wear during this Zoom life is an adjustable necklace because I can use the pull string closure to make sure it shows up no matter how far away I am sitting from my laptop. Also in a general fashion sense, I prefer adjustable necklaces because it provides more options for layering. I like it when my accessories are such a match people think I planned out outfits around them. Our adjustable necklaces feature a cluster of marbled beads in the center. I like to think of marbling as a grown-up version of the ever-trending tie-dye. Great for all ages!
In the Stars: Metallic and shiny for New Year’s but also not as in your face as an all sequin cocktail dress. We’re keeping this year lowkey but just as fun. Celebrating the end of 2020 will be the most epic New Year’s in recent times.
